Once players beat Spider-Man: Miles Morales and save the day, there is a lot of content that can be discovered to continue the adventure.

With the recent news that the critically acclaimed Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to the PC, fans everywhere are booting their game back up. Add in that the game was recently included on PS Plus so newcomers can check out this incredible title and there's even more reason to play it a bit more.

Of course, most players who own the game have already beaten it, so they need to find something new to do when they control Miles Morales again. Despite a shorter length than the first title in this Sony exclusive series, there's surprisingly quite a lot to do after completing the main story.

Once gamers have beaten the campaign, they might want to swing back home. Along with some changes within the apartment, they can also unlock a new side mission.

Titled Memory Lane, Miles must find several postcards across the city. This is easily one of the most emotional missions in the game as Jefferson Davis' voice is heard telling the stories associated with each postcard the player finds, leading to a cutscene that can make anyone feel teary-eyed.

In Miles Morales' solo outing as Spider-Man, Miles' best friend (as well as one of his best comic book allies) Ganke develops an app for the hero to use to help civilians across New York. Acting as a list of side quests for Miles to complete, the player can choose to tackle these in their own time.

While optional, the rewards for completing these can range from experience points to new costumes. And players will want to unlock these as it also helps to add extra playtime in this brief superhero sandbox.

As mentioned in the previous entry, completing the FNSM side quests can bring the player with some cool rewards. If you help Teo find his stolen cat and beat the story, the Bodega Cat Suit will be unlocked.

While there are many cool costumes to collect, this particular suit sees Teo's cat (also named Spider-Man) popping out of your backpack for some fun opportunities through photo mode. It even aids Miles when delivering a finishing blow to criminals with unique animations that no other outfit can offer.

After Miles and The Tinkerer finally duke it out once and for all and the credits roll, some additional content will be unlocked. As well as some new missions and a New Game+ mode, Ultimate Difficulty will also be opened up for those looking for a challenge to test their skills. Although it may not have been hurt nor saved like other hard difficulty modes in other games, it can still be a fun time.

With enemies now harder to take down and being able to deal more damage, this won't be an easy cakewalk. It also adds an opportunity for those looking to expand their experience with the title and experiment with their unlocked abilities and gadgets.

While many fans enjoyed Stan Lee's cameo in Insomniac's first Spider-Man game and saw it like one of his best appearances like his cameos in the MCU, his passing in 2019 hit the comic book industry hard. But the studio immortalized him as a statue in Miles Morales that can be found at the restaurant where he briefly appeared.

While some will seek the statue to unlock the "Best Fries In Town" trophy, this is a touching and monumental discovery for any Marvel fan. And the detail added by the developers shows just how much of an icon this man was to comics and superheroes in any medium.

Like any great PlayStation title, there are plenty of trophies to unlock during and after the story. And much like the first game, these ones will encourage players to experiment with their abilities as well as the modes available.

From defeating enemies with certain gadgets and combos to getting a high ranking in the training courses, they will help to make players the best Spidey that they can be. And they will prove to be useful when taking on the harder modes that the game has to offer.

Fans of the first game were introduced to the heroic Jefferson Davis before he got killed by Martin Li and his gang. Not also did this see Miles overcoming grief, but it also saw him and Peter become acquaintances.

It was only fitting that the developers added the gravestone of Jefferson that some may have missed out on in their first play-through. While it is tied to one of the game's trophies, it also shows how far Miles has come from his introduction in the previous installment with the unique interaction.

A returning feature, the Benchmarks are feats that players try to complete throughout their playthrough. From how many times they run on the side of buildings to the distance swung across the city, they were just another incentive to keep people playing other than enjoying the gameplay and movement, just one of the ways it is comparable to Spider-Man on PS4.

But Miles Morales added rewards for those that maxed each Benchmark in the form of stickers for Photo Mode. This additional incentive was a welcome one as much like the side quests and additional modes, it helped to expand the gameplay for this otherwise short game.

Just because gamers stopped The Tinkerer and saved the day doesn't mean that crime has stopped in New York. But despite the spawning gangs threatening the citizens, it can actually be a good opportunity for those looking to complete the game.

As well as the previously mentioned Benchmarks, there are also Skills, trophies to unlock, and experience points to gain that these crooks can offer during a beatdown. And even if people have already completed these goals, the combat and gameplay are still a fun time, especially with the unique things that only Miles Morales can do.

Now a staple for some developers, Photo Mode has become a fun new way for gamers to really admire the world and characters throughout their journey. While Photo Mode was in the first Spider-Man game, Insomniac took it up a notch with Miles Morales.

Introducing new stickers and filters, some can even be unlocked by beating specific requirements. And those that have sought after them have paid off by creating some amazing photos that they proudly shared online.
