Crowdfunding review-For years, I have been looking for the best backpack that meets my needs so that I can use it for EDC. The backpack needs to be waterproof and can hold many of my technological equipment, including laptops, tablets, mini keyboards, cables, power adapters, portable power packs, and a small bag containing my breakfast and lunch. The backpack I currently use meets most of my needs, but I am always looking for something better. Let's see if I am impressed with Tajezzo Smart Urban Tech Backpack, which is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.

TAJEZZO Smart Urban Tech Backpack is a spacious backpack equipped with dual-channel Bluetooth 5.0 Hi-Fi speakers and 2 modes. The night mode ensures that wherever you are carrying your backpack can be seen, while the music mode turns your backpack into a portable speaker.

PZ5 model features: light sensor | built-in speaker | anti-collision

Specifications: PZ5 weighs 2.3kg/5lb, P5 weighs 1.8kg/4lb. The dimensions of the PZ5 and P5 models are the same as follows: Length: 35 cm/14 inches Height: 56 cm/22 inches Width: 16 cm/6 inches The volume of PZ5 is about 22 liters, and the volume of P5 is about 24 liters, a little more because It saves speaker space. Maximum 90-95db. It takes about 5 hours to fully charge, and the longest battery life can reach 10 hours. PZ5 has a built-in 5000mAh battery

The hard shells of PZ5 and P5 are made of polycarbonate (PC), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). There is an LED light under the plastic shield on the top of the hard shell, and the control is on the right shoulder strap. There is also a seat belt passing through the chest.

Starting from the side of the TAJEZZO backpack facing the back, there are shoulder straps, a zipper to open the backpack, and a zipper at the bottom to reveal three connected pouches. USB-A; USB-C; Lightning. These can be used to power/charge portable devices with a 5000 mAh built-in battery. Turning to the inside of the backpack, there are many pockets and pouches on one side that can hold any type of equipment you can think of. This material is soft, strong and well-filled, and the zipper and Velcro ensure everything is safe. On the other side, there is a flap with a pouch and two snaps to hold it in place. Removing the snaps reveals a deep and spacious area that can hold many items, including my lunch :-). This is the space inside the hard shell. At the top, there is the speaker enclosure. On the right shoulder strap, there is a rubber pad that includes all controls. It also has a red boot/charge LED. There is an LED light on the back to improve visibility. The following are the controls and lights in operation:

Overall, this is a good backpack, which contains some very good features, the light on the back is a good safety feature, and waterproof is a worthy reward. The speakers sound very suitable for backpacks, and voice calls are clear and easy to manage without much effort. This backpack works well when riding a bicycle or other outdoor adventures. Obviously, through the built-in speaker, it can provide the necessary entertainment.

Personally, I have two main problems related to my usage/needs. The first is that there is no outer bag for water bottles or coffee cups. I need this feature to make it my EDC backpack. My second problem is that after filling all my equipment, I feel that the bag is not properly balanced. I guess the speaker on the top makes it a bit top-heavy. I carried the exact items in another backpack. It fits well and does not put any pressure on my back. This backpack made me feel very tired after carrying it for a short time. All of this may be related to the way I dress, but these are still problems for me.

I am a fan of waterproof backpacks, these backpacks are beautifully designed, not only look good, but also function very well. This backpack has checked most of the boxes, but IMHO, it is more suitable for leisure travel, not for me like the EDC backpack. If you are hanging out somewhere for a day and need to carry all the technical equipment and get entertainment, then this is a good choice.
