BACKPACK GIVEAWAY — Free back-to-school backpacks will be available July 23 at New Covenant Church in Clyde.
Parents can send children back to school prepared without straining the wallet through the Back-to-School Blessing and Family Fun Festival at New Covenant Church.
The church is hosting the 4th annual backpack and school supplies giveaway event 10 a.m.–noon, July 23, at 767 Lee Rd. in Clyde.
The church will give away more than 600 free backpacks complete with school supplies. The Family Fun Festival includes food, inflatable attractions, cotton candy, snow cones and more, all for free.

Donations for backpacks and school supplies will be accepted at New Covenant Church, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. on or before July 21. To donate money, visit newcovenantchurch.com/giving and select Back-to-School Blessing in the drop down menu.
