Casper, Wyoming-On Monday, Western Wyoming Community College announced that the Sweetwater Trail Alliance has chosen the name of the "Wild Horse Loop" for the new bike lane located behind the college dormitory.

The academy said in an announcement: “The local submitter Keith Hein won the snowman backpack and water bottle for submitting the award-winning name.”

The bike lane has been completed, but donations are still accepted to help pay for signs, benches, picnic tables, the parking lot near Skyline Street, and the reclaimed asphalt in the assembly area near the college west parking lot.

The college explained: “The staging area is a location where people can sign up for events, get water and food, first aid, and set up suppliers during the event.” “The space allows people to gather without using the parking lot. Because the parking lot was used for CDL courses. Rock Springs moved about 500 tons of soil to flatten the northwest corner of the west parking lot to create space for the parking area."

"The donation will also be used to include mountain biking skills, such as seesaws, eight-inch rails on the ground, two-foot-high eight-inch rails, and possible rock climbing skills."

The Sweetwater Trails Alliance also hopes to place signs along the trail to inform users “such as the fact that users can see the Wind River and Uintah Mountains from the staging area—they are about 160 miles apart,” the college added. There are signs explaining the rock formations and other facts to create a learning experience. "

So far, this clue has seen donations of money and/or time from:

The announcement added: “Mustang Loop is an outlet for community members to experience the unique landscape of Wyoming without leaving town.” “SWTA wants to encourage those who want to do something good in our community to donate to Mustang Loop in this Tuesday’s donation. For more information on how to donate, please visit www.westernwyoming.edu/biketrail."

The donation on Tuesday will be held on November 30th.

“Sweetwater Trails Alliance is very pleased to introduce a high-quality trail system in Rock Springs,” said Randall Dale, member of the Sweetwater Trails Alliance in the announcement. "We look forward to our community going out and enjoying our community trail, whether it’s hiking, running or biking. This trail can meet your needs, whether it’s grandma and grandpa want a place to walk, maybe teach someone to ride Bike skills to build confidence, or just take the kids on strollers or even striding bikes while learning how to ride! The best part of this trail is that it suits the entire community."
