Don't throw away your backpack-especially if it is worth the money.

When I was trained and stationed in the United States, I liked my assault bag. It is a good size and has all the functions I think I need. When I deployed, I needed to find an alternative, because for those who didn't know, the woodland MARPAT that was used for the Marine Assault Pack and ILBE at the time was mixed with shit in southwestern Afghanistan.

This is how I found a tactical backpack that is not a standard problem. I admit that I was a little angry because of how lame my assault bag is in comparison. Everything in a private bag is stronger, easier to use, and comfortable to carry about a million times higher. Shocking, I know.

With all the options provided by well-known brands such as 5.11 and Oakley, do we need another manufacturer to join the game? Can a new company with a strange name earn our business? I got a 39-liter tactical backpack from WolfWarriorX to find the answer.

The first impression is important, which makes me feel optimistic. Everything in the WolfWarriorX package feels overbuilt and powerful. The hardware and fasteners are large enough to make me sure that they will not fail during a two-day outdoor exercise or camping trip. This fabric feels thick, durable, and at least somewhat waterproof.

WolfWarriorX uses sturdy 600D nylon to make this backpack. This is sturdy enough to fix the equipment inside and out, and the MOLLE system relies on a strong connection. This material is advertised as waterproof-this is a very broad term that we will cover in detail later. The zipper is an oversized variety, I appreciate it. I once zipped a relatively high-end camping bag, which was a huge disappointment. With a capacity of 39 liters, the bag can be expanded to 60 liters. This is huge, more than the level of padding and back support I want.

At first, the storage and organization options for the bag were almost overwhelming. All the pouches and MOLLE feel too much. Outside the main compartment is a medium-sized storage area that can store extra clothes or some continuous food, and there is a small compartment for safe storage of wallets and keys. For daily use, I removed the shoulder bag, belt and Velcro patch. After that, the bag felt less motorcycle and more practical. Nevertheless, it is good to have the option to use these things when necessary.

The first place I took this backpack was the gym (natural). In order not to look like boots, I stripped off all unnecessary accessories, straps and patches, keeping the bag as far away from the radar as possible. After finishing, I was pleasantly surprised at how normal it looked. Even the colors of everyday backpacks seem reasonable.

The next test is hiking. The shoulder straps attached to WolfWarriorX are nice and low. This keeps my shoulder blades high, instead of hanging on the bad intervertebral discs in my lower back-remember that spinal injuries, like all other injuries, have nothing to do with service. This made me have high expectations for the comfort of the bag, and it did not disappoint me when hiking during the day.

One thing I noticed under heavier loads is that this bag feels like it is designed for smaller people. I am 5 feet 9 inches tall and weigh 185 pounds, which is a fairly average size. When I put the shoulder strap on a high place and close to my body, the belt was wrapped around my abdomen. If you are taller than me, this backpack may not be enough to support heavy equipment.

I also want to see if this backpack can be combined well. I started filling it with bricks and doing 50 powered jumps (plus 1 for Chesty and 1 for the Legion. The commander can do his own jumping). The bricks were hit. I don't know what shortcomings I had to correct that day, but I assure you that through this test, one or two of my body were covered by smog. After emptying the bricks, I zip up the main compartment and put a hose on the bag to fully soak it.

The pressure test did not deteriorate the degree of wear of the bag. Long before seams and fabrics, you can expect padding and support to become a problem. As for water, if rain is forecast, you'd better put a garbage bag. Some parts of the backpack have enough waterproof coating to prevent light rain from entering, but most of the water flows directly into it.

Holy organization, this bag can hold anything. Hydration system bag, MOLLE, inner and outer elastic bands, mesh side pockets-everything. Inside, there are pockets for everything from your CAC to your laptop, and a clip that protects your keys when you open the front compartment. Most importantly, these features are relatively lightweight and low-key, so you won't get in the way when you don't need them.

Durability is another advantage. I have full confidence in the service life of this backpack in harsh environments. Let us not forget that its cost is cheaper than Gentleman Jack's handle. I do it all to save money, WolfWarriorX is worth the money in this package.

The WolfWarriorX backpack is not all sunshine and rainbow. The expandable main compartment is very convenient for travel, but remember that it can expand the backpack outward and away from your body. This means that every ounce you add will feel heavier because it’s not well positioned. There is a reason why large camping backpacks are tall and thin-they keep the weight close to your spine and minimize the pull back on your body. Continue to put clothes in this bag, but don't plan to use the extended function to drag the belt of 240 ammunition.

The hydration system compartment should be the standard configuration of any backpack designed for outdoor use, so thanks to WolfWarriorX for providing one. The zipper pouch and the elastic drinking tube opening are placed properly. They forgot how to fix the pipe after installation. You can easily use a Velcro strap or a piece of tape to fix your drinking hose to one of the shoulder straps, but this should be part of the original design.

The WolfWarriorX set may be a good deal, but it is only suitable for suitable buyers. If you are 69 inches shorter than me (very good) and don't need to carry more than 30 pounds or so, I don't understand why this is not worth a try. If you are a tall man, size may be an issue. Due to the shape and lack of support, loading this bag with heavy equipment can cause damage to your body in a hurry.

Don't forget that in addition to carrying as much equipment as possible, tactics are more important. The buckles and attachments are great, but you need to spend some time securing all loose ends on this bag to reduce grab points and maintain noise discipline. Use some electrical tape to deal with it, you should be in business.

More questions? This is an additional introduction to the mission and purpose.

Answer: This is the best part: The price of this bag on Amazon is less than $40. At this price, I will give many backpacks a chance and be ready to let them fall apart. I certainly would not expect it to be so sturdy and well-designed.

A. Of course you can. The package has a built-in compartment for standard-sized water bags and an elastic opening for the drinking tube. One thing I wish it had was a method of fixing the tube to one of the straps. If you have to argue with a disobedient straw every time you want to take a sip of alcohol, it is not so convenient to have a hydrating system.

A: It ultimately depends on your command and the overall mood of your particular SNCO. WolfWarriorX spares no effort to make this backpack suitable for military use by offering current and previous Army camouflage patterns, coyote brown, olive and black. There is also a color called "light green gray" that can match any clothes the Air Force is now wearing.

A. For shorter camping trips and day hikes, this is definitely something I would consider using. It is heavier than things like Osprey or Deuter, but it is also manufactured to heavy-duty standards and may absorb bumps and scratches better. The shoulder strap structure will have a huge impact on hiking, as long as you maintain a reasonable weight, the position of these shoulder straps can provide you with a comfortable trip.

A. Yes, there are Velcro. Yut/hooah/ get some!
